​When you subscribe to Moon Magic, we'll inscribe your name into the Moonbeam Book. All names entered into the Book before the 15th of each month, will receive that month's collection of magic. On the 15th, we'll assemble your handcrafted parcel, seal it with moonlight and send it out for special delivery. Only those whose names are inscribed into the Moonbeam Book before midnight on the 14th will receive that month’s theme. When the Book closes at midnight, all who join after are carried forward to the next month's moon.

Welcome to Feast Moon, November’s Moon Magic offering.
This month’s Moon Magic package invites us to feast not only on food, but on love, laughter, and connection.

Feast Moon will help us see abundance in a brand new way. It will remind us that true abundance is not measured by the size of our wallets or by the opulence on our tables, but rather by how deeply we savor the simple gifts that surround us - the warmth of friendship, the comfort of a shared meal, and the deepest joy of gratitude.

At this stage in my life, I don’t have much money but I do have wonderful friends, a thrifted dining room table, and an understanding that gathering together is important.
Some of my favorite evenings are when a few of us come together for dinner. None of us can afford much, but everyone brings something that they’ve made with care; a herbed roasted pumpkin dish, a pot of creamy potato soup, a pie that took all afternoon for Sophia to make. When we set everything out, it amazes abundant it feels even though we’ve each needed to be so frugal. Our meal isn’t fancy, but it’s intentional and every dish holds effort and love.
These meals remind me that abundance doesn’t have to be expensive, it just has to be shared. When everyone brings a piece of themselves, the table overflows. The candles glow brighter. And the food tastes delicious.
That’s what Feast Moon means to me- the magic of creating something beautiful out of what we have, and realizing that when love and gratitude are part of the recipe, we are rich.

I've come to understand that joy doesn't come from how much I have but rather from how deeply I notice the beauty that is already all around me.
​
There were years when our table was modest, when life felt uncertain and every cent was counted. Yet joy found her way in when I made space for her. She came through the laughter of my children, the smell of stew on the stove, the way the late-autumn light pooled golden across my wooden kitchen table. Those were the moments that taught me that richness isn’t something we earn - it’s something we cultivate with our attention, our gratitude, and the small, loving rituals that turn an ordinary moment into something meaningful.

When we take time to lay the table with intention, to light a candle, to gather what we have and make it beautiful, a small miracle occurs. The ordinary turns sacred. The simplest meal becomes a feast.

to me, spirit is the quiet flame inside that never burns out. it means I am never alone. it is the way my instinct speaks with both the wisdom of my own experiences and also the gentle nudges of the ones who guide me from beyond. I feel them keenly, my angels. I call on them often. every decision is part memory, part miracle. spirit moon is when I pause to remember that I am not making this life alone. my steps are guided by my own strengths and by those unseen hands that long for me to thrive.

When my mom passed back over the rainbow bridge in 2020, I thought I would die from the pain. And for years, my heart stayed broken. I would feel an overwhelming sense of loss and shock whenever I remembered that she was gone; a world without her in it was unfathomable. But as time went on, I began to understand that, while her body was gone, her spirit was still very much with me. And she was scattering my days with signs of her love. She was communicating with me in a new language through all the beautiful things that brought me joy. Little by little, I learned how to speak this new language. And now, now we connect every day. And in fact, our bond might even be stronger today than it ever was. She is with God, she is the Universe, she is back with Source and her Spirit is strong in my heart.

Earlier this month, while traipsing along the farmers market booths, a bag of peaches in one hand and a fresh baguette in the other, I couldn't help but marvel at the way wonder turned everything technicolor. The wide-eyed children pulling the sleeves of their mothers towards the popsicle stand. The kind older woman in front of me, wondering if this day of all days was the one she'd decide she wanted to try blue cheese for the first time. I love watching the way wonder graces everyone’s face, lighting curiosity up within. In a funny, ironic, way, I wonder at wonder. It is one of my favorite emotions to see on humanity, and one of the most special to feel. This month, i want to seek wonderful things, i want to foster curiosity. I want to wake up before the sun just to stare up at the colored sky and wonder.

My life irrevocably changed 5 years ago, in August, with my breast cancer diagnosis, double mastectomy and the passing of my beloved mother, all in the same month. For a while I was broken, bereft, inconsolable. But then something magical happened; I discovered that all this sadness came with a gift - the realization that the only way through the darkness was to light my path with wonder. I discovered that wonder is in the eye of the beholder. And it’s EVERYWHERE. I could simply walk past a tree or I could pause to notice the particular way the roots intertwine through the moss. And I could notice the colors of the moss… the silvers and greens and emeralds. And the tiny mushrooms growing in the moss. And the way the sunlight filters down through the leaves and dances on the moss. What went unnoticed before, is now, with wonder, transformed.
