The POTTERY
Donni Webber creates functional ceramic art and jewelry from her woodland studio at The Gratitude Farm in Dublin, New Hampshire. Drawing inspiration from her daily forest walks and foraging adventures, Donni's ceramic artworks embody the textures, patterns, and quiet beauty of the natural world. Her pieces translate organic elements - the texture of lichen on a rock, the ridges of bark, the delicate veining of leaves - into functional pottery and wearable art that connects users to the earth's inherent beauty.
Donni's creative practice is deeply rooted in gratitude and mindfulness. Each piece she creates carries this philosophy, inviting you to pause and recognize the extraordinary in everyday moments. Through her ceramics, Donni bridges ancient traditions with contemporary design, creating pieces that honor both the clay's origins and its transformed potential.
The PROCESS
At The Gratitude Farm, each ceramic piece begins as a spark of inspiration drawn from Donni's woodland surroundings. The magic she sees in nature informs the shape, texture, or glaze of her finished work. Her pottery is a tangible connection between nature and daily life -functional art that carries the essence of the forest into your home or onto your person.

The transformation from inspiration to finished piece follows an ancient path of patience and fire. We begin by carefully preparing our clay through wedging, then form each piece either on the pottery wheel or through hand-building techniques. After a slow drying period, the work undergoes its first transformation in the kiln. 12 hours at 1800°F, emerging as bisqueware ready to receive glaze. Our mineral-based glazes - many formulated in-studio from natural materials - are applied by hand before the final firing, again for 12 hours but this time at 2300°F! Earth and minerals melt together in an alchemy that delivers us the most magical results. Throughout this journey, we balance technical skill with surrender, embracing the unpredictable elements that make each piece uniquely beautiful.
The Magic of Handmade
Donni has a rustic, free flowing artistic style, full of the imperfections that make both nature and hand-built pottery so charming... her work is unique, with lumps and bumps, just like her, just like life, and she likes it that way (she knows you will too).
Nothing you get from The Gratitude Farm is flawlessly straight, round, symmetrical or perfect... everything is handmade and reflects the imperfections of nature and handwork. If this isn't your vibe and you prefer a more sterile aesthetic, please don't shop at our store.

All creations are one-of-a-kind so if you like something, grab it because you definitely won't see it here again.
