I had so much fun with this set of leaf plates. I picked the largest curly dock leaves I could find and pressed them into clay to capture their magical imprint; a multitude of interwoven veins.
Each plate has sweet little animal on top.
The gorgeous green celedon glaze lets the veins perfectly show their magic, a magical shade of greens and yellows.

About My Art :
Each piece in my collection is inspired by my daily walks through the woods surrounding The Gratitude Farm in rural New Hampshire. I translate the textures, colors, and magic of mushrooms, ferns, moss, and bark into functional pottery that connects you to nature, every day.
I have a rustic, free flowing, artistic style, full of the imperfections that make both nature and hand-built pottery so charming... my work is unique, with lumps and bumps, just like me, just like life, and I likes it this way (I know you will too).
Nothing you get from The Gratitude Farm is flawlessly straight, round, symmetrical or perfect... everything is handmade and reflects the imperfections of nature and handwork. If this isn't your vibe and you prefer a more sterile aesthetic, this might not be the style for you.
All creations are one-of-a-kind so if you like something, grab it because you definitely won't see it here again.
Shipping & Care:
Your ceramic piece will be carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery.We take the utmost care when packaging your treasures. Pottery items are wrapped securely in paper, bubble wrap and cardboard to ensure their safety while in transit. Some might say I overdo the padding but I'd rather be safe than sorry. In all these years of shipping pottery to all over the world, I've never had an item break enroute.
To offset the environmental impact of my packaging materials, I always use recycled items. My local shops save all of their babble wrap, peanuts and brown paper for me to use. So you can be happy that we are not adding to the landfill.
I ship on Tuesdays. If you need your goodies sooner, please send me an email with your request.
All packages are shipped USPS Mail with tracking. If you want to upgrade to a faster service, please email me with your request and I'll send you a shipping upgrade.
If you wish to add insurance to your package, please let me know before you process your order so that I can add that additional cost to your total.
If you have made your purchase from outside the USA, your delivery may be subject to import tax. These charges will be specific to your country and you will be responsible for paying any import tax and duties should they arise.
